A member is any person who has been fully registered by the We are family Association.

To become a member of We are family Association, applicants should meet the following qualifications;

1. Eligibility criteria: Applicants should be of eighteen (18) years of age and must have attended, engaged and interacted on a minimum of five (5) Live streaming platforms hosted by the We are family Association.

2. Shared values: Prospective members should align with the association’s mission, vision and values demonstrating commitment to its objectives and principles.

3. Application process: Prospective members will need to complete an application form or undergo a screening process to ensure they meet the association’s criteria.

4. Dues and fees: We are family requires its members to pay a registration fee to support the association’s activities.

5. Code of conduct: We are family members are typically required to adhere to a code of conduct or ethical standards that reflect the values and principles of the association.

6. Renewal requirements: All the members of We are family are expected to fulfill any renewal criteria to maintain their membership status.

Below, is a Code of conduct followed by all the fully registered members of the We are family Association that outline the expected behavior and standards to maintain a positive and respectful community;

[i]. Respect and inclusivity: We value diversity and treat all members with respect, regardless of differences in their background, beliefs and opinions.

[ii] Integrity: We are family members are expected to act honestly and ethically, maintaining the highest standards of integrity in all interactions within the association and the broader community.

[iii]. Collaboration: We are family promotes a culture of socialization and teamwork , encouraging its members to work together effectively and efficiently towards common goals and objectives.

[iv]. Confidentiality: Members respect the confidentiality of sensitive information shared within the association , ensuring that personal and associational privacy is upheld at all.

[v]. Professionalism: In all interactions, members conduct themselves in a professional manner that represents the association positively and upholds its reputation in the entire community.

[vi]. Accountability: Members take responsibility for their actions and decisions, acknowledging and learning from mistakes while striving for continuous improvement .

[vii]. Compliance: Members adhere to all applicable rules, regulations and policies governing the association’s activities, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

[viii]. Conflict resolution and Response to an action: Members seek to resolve conflicts and disagreements constructively and peacefully, engaging in open communication and respectful dialogue to find mutually acceptable solutions.

Additionally, members are advised to refrain from farther provocation or escalation and instead seek to de-escalate the situation through silence or withdrawal to ensure personal safety and prevent the exacerbation of conflict .

[ix]. Contribution: Members actively contribute to the mission and objectives of the association , volunteering their time, skills and resources to support its initiatives and projects.

[x].Effective communication and feedback: It is imperative for all family members to know what, where, when, how ,why and to whom to communicate while providing constructive feedback/suggestions and in instances of potential absence for media platforms or when intending to remove family badges, to ensure transparency and improvements for effective enhancement and accountability within the family structures.

[xi].Private personal and Romantic relationships: Personal or romantic relationships shall not interfere with the family affairs or activities and members are required to address such issues outside of family engagements to maintain harmony as well as focusing on collective goals.
